The South Pasadena Chamber of Commerce provides business information and advocacy, marketing and professional networking opportunities and community-building activities in South Pasadena, California.

Board of Directors

The Chamber is guided by a 13 member board of elected directors, each of whom either owns or manages a business that operates in South Pasadena. Directors are volunteers. For Director Bios and contact information, see our Board Directory.

Election 2010

In conformity with the Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws of the SPCC Corp., the Nominating Committee recommends the following candidates for election to the Board of Directors to serve two year terms beginning September 24th, 2010.  These candidates represent 6 of the 13 persons on the Chamber Board.

The current Directors whose terms continue until September 30, 2011 are Dennis Chiappetta, Athens Services, Steven P. Dahl, AIA, Dahl Architects, Inc., Thomas Field, Thomas R. Field American Antiques, Peter Kingston, Sr.,  Day-Ray Products, Jason Rubin, Institute for the Redesign of Learning, Rich Roche, AT&T,  and Anthony Tartaglia, The Gas Company.

The members of the Nominating Committee were: Gary Pia, G. E. Pia & Company, Dennis Chiappetta, Athens Services, Glen Duncan, South Pasadena Preservation Foundation, Jason Rubin, Institute for the Redesign of Learning and Lin Vlacich, Sotheby’s International Realty.

They considered all applications and established a slate of candidates, which was presented to the Board Chair and approved on August 31, 2010.

Only active members may vote. Ballots must be returned by mail by September 22, 2010, 8:30 am to be counted in this election, or in person on the day of the election, Friday, September 24th, 2010 at 10 am at the Annual Meeting (please call for location and/or ballot).

The Chamber is a member-driven business association offering services to enhance member effectiveness and profitability, and to promote the members inside and outside its borders. The Chamber also acts under contract from the City to promote the South Pasadena in general.
